Started by Milko Krnac nearly 20 years ago, SINOVI has serviced every area of masonry and stonescaping for commercial and residential restoration projects and new builds. Operating almost entirely from word of mouth since its start, SINOVI is proud of its hard-earned reputation for superior craftsmanship and projects that repeatedly exceed expectations.

With masonry experience in Croatia, Germany, and Canada, Milko has developed the
SINOVI brand with the highest level of expertise and standards, making sure every
project delivers desired results.

SINOVI exists to capture the extensive knowledge Milko has acquired and to pass that experience down. Our mission as skilled craftsmen is to ensure superior masonry and stonescaping services remain available for those that need them. We’ve made it our mission to train the next generation of Master Stonemasons. Our legacy is to pass down the secrets of excellent workmanship within the masonry trade, and we will continue to offer our expertise and world-class masonry solutions for generations to come.

General Manager

Mihal’s journey in the landscape design and build industry began at the young age of fourteen while working alongside his father, Milko, during his summer breaks. Having developed an interest in landscape construction over those summers, he began looking for a full-time position within the industry following his graduation from high school.

After some searching, Mihal became employed with Tumber & Associates Ltd. as a Stone Mason. Over the next eight years, he progressed within the company from Stone Mason, to Project Manager, to General Manager, and was eventually presented with the opportunity to purchase the company in 2016 – an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

After two successful years with Tumber & Associates Ltd., Mihal approached Milko with the idea of developing a partnership as each saw an opportunity to provide a superior service within the masonry and stonescaping industry if they were able to join their respective skills. As such, a partnership was created in early 2019, resulting in Sinovi Masonry and Stonescapes.

Today, Mihal is responsible for the overall strategic planning of the Sinovi Masonry whereby he is able to apply his knowledge and experience gained from Tumber & Associates Ltd. to the company. Mihal is passionate about the development of small businesses into industry leading companies and looks forward to exploring the opportunities presented by this newly developed partnership.

JESSICA HAMMELL

Operations Manager

Jessica wears a lot of hats in her role as Operations Manager. She works closely with clients to ensure needs are being met, answer questions about projects, and generally make sure everything in running smoothly with the job. Jessica also is in regular communication with work crews to provide updates and timelines for all projects to make sure projects are kept on schedule.

Internally, she coordinates communication between all departments and serves as administrator for many business functions. Her organizational skills and drive are a valuable asset for the business and ensures top quality work from the Sinovi team!

SEAN DOWELL

Master Stonemason

Sean is the manager and headmason at Sinovi. In this role, he meets with clients to discuss, plan, and confirm jobs — and he has the skills to deliver the expertly crafted stone work that Sinovi is known for.

Sean is skilled and experienced in working with all kinds of masonry projects including fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and barbecues, walkways, pools, chimneys and more.

He has worked over for 15 years as stonemason and his experience includes working with luxury residential houses across the province of Ontario. He trained under the Italian master stonemason Davide Amadei.
